Industry trends have seen the popularity of foam-back curtains. As opposed to linings, they take over from traditional fabrics that require a separate lining.

Curtains made correctly; with a separate attached lining, properly constructed pelmets, curtains with returns and overlaps finishing just above the floor minimise convection currents which in turn insulate against heat loss and cold gain.

These fabrics consist of a single layer of fabric with an acrylic coating applied to the surface. These coatings can be either one or three passes.
